Who We Are

JFCS helps Jewish families and the community at large to successfully meet the challenges of daily life by providing quality, affordable, and accessible social services.  The agency is guided by our values of caring for individuals with dignity and respect and helping people to help themselves.

What We Do

Students who are under 18 years of age can participate in hands-on mitzvah projects while learning about our community’s needs. They can deliver food for the holidays, coordinate and participate in food drives, and socialize in a supervised environment with young adults with disabilities. Custom websites for B'nai mitzvah students can be created to share your project, collect donations, and more.  Helping in small ways can make a big difference.

If you are interested in creating a mitzvah project, please reach out to Sherri Jonas, Director of Volunteers, at 856-424-1333 or sjonas@jfedsnj.org
